Tooth contouring is a completely safe procedure, however only small amounts of enamel can be removed to avoid your teeth becoming sensitive and to avoid your teeth being more prone to decay or risk of fractures. Tooth Bonding can correct chipped teeth, spaces between teeth, pitted or grooved teeth and can also cover any discoloration that you may have. This treatment involves small amounts of tooth coloured restorative material being applied to re-shape or improve the appearance of the tooth. Bonding usually requires no local anaesthetic during the procedure.
